Defense attorneys had no comment after court adjourned.
The trial opened Monday morning with Henderson giving jurors a graphic preview in his opening arguments of evidence that will be presented in the trial — the first of three for Gibson, who is accused of killing Whitis and two other women.
“This case is going to be difficult for you to listen, see and hear,” Henderson told them, describing Whitis as a “vibrant” woman who became Gibson’s “prey.”
