A mother who lost her 21-year-old son in a crash this past weekend is getting a small amount of closure, thanks to the owner of an independent shoe store.
Twenty-one-year-old Layne Iffert was a NIKE factory employee — who at one time said he wanted to be laid to rest with his limited-edition pair of Air Jordans.

Her son died Aug. 10 in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 99E south of Canby, Ore.
Layne was wearing the shoes at the time the time of the crash. But, somehow, his shoes disappeared.
His family called around to police, the hospital and the medical examiner to find the shoes. And on Friday, KOIN 6 News aired their story.
